My M.I.L married when just when she turned 15.
I married when I was 19.

In my opinion, 22 is not to young to be married as long as they both understand what marriage is about.

My wife was 22 when we were married, and I was 25. We have now been married almost 6 years and we've been together for 11. I think that 22 is not too young as long as you are both level-headed and secure in your relationship... treat each other right, and be serious about your goals in life.... love is not enough to conquer all, but it is a huge portion of it.

It seems that parents will always tell you that you are too young to get married until you are about 30 years old. Anyway, no, I don't think 22 is too young. I got married at 22 and we're celebrating our 7th anniversary this month. And we have a wonderful 16 month old baby girl.

No, not really. I think 22 is almost the perfect age. I think 25 would be closer to the perfect age, but 22 is not that bad. I had a great grandparents, that when they got married, he was 19 and she was 15. That marriage lasted 50 years.

Personally , I don't think 22 is too young. I guess it would just depend on how mature the two of them are. If they are ready to face the world we live in today together, they should go for it!

22 is way too young for marriage. 28-30 is a good age. Work hard and save/ invest for financial security, by marriage time both financial and emotional investments will have matured somewhat . Possibly ready to start a family a couple tears after marriage.

you were too young to get married. I bet you didn't even finish high school. 22 is still too young. nowaday people married at around 26-27. you need to get some experience before you get married.

I got married at 20 so I don't think this is too young at all.

Personally, I don't think someone is ready for marriage at that age. I know, looking back, that I sure wasn't. I wasn't ready for a baby at 20 either. What you are ready for and what actually happens is two different things. I am now in my 30s and I still am not ready for marriage!!

I think it all depends on her maturity level. If they really love each other and want to get married, no one should stand in their way.
