If you already have the songs in the iPod, you can copy them in your friend's computer. After copying, your friend can add it to his iTunes library.

You can always use iDUMP, a software that allows you to transfer your songs of your iPod to a PC. Connect your iPod and run iDump and you'll have access to all your songs, select the songs you want to transfer then pick a destination directory and how you would like your songs to be named. And then sit back and transfer all the selected songs to the PC. After that you can already add them in your music library in iTunes. It is easy to use. =)

The good news is iDump is FREE! Here is the link where you can download the software.

it takes a lot of work to do. It almost isn't worth the effort if you just give them your cds to burn into their pcs. it is all explained on ipodlounge.com or you can do a few google searches

Aother method is to make sure you have manual update and to drag songs to the ipod. i forget which but cancels the auto update when an ipod is attached.

YOu can't. The source library on the computer is what goes on the iPod. Your friend will have to put your CDs on their own computer.

you're able to reproduction and paste the records (out of your itunes at the same time as the ipod is plugged in) into the music folder on your workstation, otherwise the workstation will only understand them as non everlasting records.

IPod sucks due to its proprietary iTunes crap... get a real MP3 player, then and only then can you do as you ask. I have a creative player, no problems at all moving mp3's to it from my pc, just the same as moving them from one folder to another
