Well God talks to me through other people. One day I was having a really bad day, I found out something really bad about my job, I fell down in the street and hurt myself pretty bad, and some other bad things happened too. I was thinking "This has got to be one of the worst days of my life." Later that day a complete stranger came up to me and asked me if I was OK, and asked me why I was sad. I don't know where she came from. I told her I was having a pretty bad day, and she said "don't worry about it, things will get better, you'll see." She walked away and I never saw her again. But just the fact that a complete stranger would even care about me on one of my darkest days, it was really strange and hard to explain. I think in a way God was "talking" to me by using another person.

Yes! God speaks through His word, a still small voice and at times other ways. He reaches out to you. If you really want to hear Him you will.

I'm one of those simple fokes, that was refered to by one of the responders, YES! God does talk to us. Literally through HIS WORD(the Bible) and the soft inner voice sometimes called your conscious, is the voice of God. He talk to us through people.
