Scam! Something very similar happened to my grandparents, they got a check saying they had won $2500, but had to send $1000 back for fees. They deposited the check and wrote a check back to the sender for $1000. Would have worked out, had the original check not been fake. In the end, they had a $2000 loss, the $1000 they sent out, and what else they had spent on their own. You should tell the interested party that your not interested.

SCAM - look this up on the net.....its one of the most common scams going right now...some will even say that if you send them $1000 so they can get here they will bring you $1 million..steer clear of these...you might want to save this mail...you could report it to your local police as they can trace (usually scammers cover their tracks) these people...can you imagine how many people actually get sucked into these things and pay the $$$!?!

This is a fairly well-known scam... do NOT deal with this person.
The check will not clear and you'll be left holding the bag for 1500 to your bank.

lol - that stinks of a scam.

If you still want to go for it, i'll pay $200 - just that i'll give you $2000 - can you just send the $1800 to my offshore account? :-)
