I've heard of women making their husbands sleep on the couch because they snore too loud, but I would be very upset if he just preferred to sleep on the couch.

To be 100% honest, if my husband refused to sleep with me, I'd go crazy. Because we do so many things together during bed time as a couple.

I'd certainly ask him what was wrong, and see what his thoughts were, and what he's feeling. And go to marriage counseling.

And of course remove the sofa.

It sounds like there's a problem there that needs to be addressed in my opinion.

I strongly agree with seperate bedrooms. If/when I have another relationship, I definitely want seperate rooms. One gets used to sleeping alone and it becomes actually more trouble to sleep with someone than it is worth. I understand closeness/intimacy etc but I also respect privacy, alone time, and I refuse to hear snoring.... Of course, this is one opinion that isn't very popular but it is mine. :D

what kind of marriage would it be if he doesnt want to sleep with you. It doesnt sound like things are going smoothly. I think you should both look into counseling if you still want to make it work. Either way I would seriously talk to him and work things out and if he is not willing to work things out then maybe it was not meant to be. I am sorry. I hope things work out for you.

Oh I'd nag him until he told me what the problem was then deal with it and move on from there...If he gets too cocky then I just lay on top of him on the couch and say night night!

that something would be going on.
when i was 9 months pregnant till i had our child, my husband slept on the couch, but that was just for my safety because sometimes he likes to 'fight' in his sleep and it was just for caution. other then that, hes never slept on the couch.

That questions could go either way, some might prefer it and others might get really upset. I love the whole bed to myself sometimes. :)

Well, it's a sign that something is "wrong" ...

There's some issue there and you need to speak to him to find out what 's the issue and try to iron things out together..
