How gory would you make the film?
Didn't Cortes kill all of them?
It would be like watching genocide!!!!!
Not for me thanks.

Yes, I think it would make a very good subject... just as long as Hollywood doesn't try to star Brad Pitt or Colin Farrell as an aztec and pass it off as historical.

Yes, definitely. An amazing story, hard to see how anybody would not find it interesting. I think such a film was tried once, but I don't know exactly when or by whom. I think with modern effects and a good cast and script it would be a sure hit.

Sounds good. It's probably gonna have some graphic scenes because the Spaniards did a lot of horrible things. Gonna require a lot of extras but I think it will do good in the box office,

Done right, yes-- If it focused on the tragedy of it all instead of adding some lame romantic storyline as is done with so many other "historical" films these days (see: Pearl Harbor, New World, etc)

No too tough to develop sympathy with either side. Aztecs slaughtered thousands in sacrfices and the conquistadors in turn slaughtered thousands of aztecs.

absolutley i was very intrigued as a child in school learning about the aztecs i think it would make a great movie

There is a stage play "The Royal hunt of the sun" that in its essentials is about the same thing so in a sense it has already been done.

no a good idea, history films are always bored, and besides the way they conquered most of latinamerica is just too violent and certainly will arouse a lot of controversia.
