while i was checking a audio amplifier i touched the audio input wire directly with a finger to check for audio strength. But for my surprise instead of loud audio grid (Grrrrrriiiii) the amplifier was singing a local AM station lous & clear...!!! how that happened...! i didn't connected any radio set to the amplifier by any way.

It no big mystery. An amplifier is nothing more than a big audio receiver, but it doesn't have an RF section... a tuner, so anything other than audio going into it will usually be ignored by the circuitry. When you touched the audio input wire, you became, in effect, an antenna and the amplifier picked up the local radio station, demodulated the signal and put it out in the speakers as an audio signal.

I used to have a lot of trouble with people who had cheap radios and lived in the immediate area of one of my high powered shortwave transmitters. Sometime I could filter it out and sometimes I couldn't...

lol ET iono thats a weird talent you have there maybe when you touched it you had static so it crossed radio signals
