Actually Hawaii is the southern most in the united states, now in the continental US then Florida would be the answer.
But Hawaii is WAY south of Florida.

The answer is most definitely Hawaii
It stretches from 18deg 55'N to 29deg N
Florida starts at 24 deg 30 'N and goes to 31deg N

Therefore Hawaii starts almost 5 1/2 degs further South

It is definately Hawaii. Although there are a handful of territories and possesions of the U.S. (i.e. Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, etc.) that may be farther south than Hawaii, I am not sure.
