When was there a time in your life when you felt so alone..?
Like you were the only in this world who could understand you or there was nobody you could relate to etc.
* I remember feeling that way when my dad was killed by a passing car one evening. I had just spoken to him a few moments before he left the house but, I didn't realize it would be the last time I would ever speak to him. Although I had family and loved ones around...I just felt so isolated and empty.......

This happens when a loved one whom you had trusted and respected and loved with your heart and soul goes away. You feel that no one else can take that place, but this feeling is for a short while and you will eventually get over it. I lost my mum 7 years ago and I still grieve and think of her, but she won't come back and she will not want me to put myself through this. So, live your life to the fullest and keep praying. God knows what he is doing.

I know I was in a trance state for many days after my Dad died. Mom had died only 13 months before. It takes awhile and I couldnt afford to travel to the funerals either. You can pray for help. I wish you luck. Be around the family That will help.

I have felt the same way. Kinda doing it right now. I have started to pray ALOT. 1st time in my life I have actually sat down and prayed and just opened up about everything. I truly feel it helps and will help me in the long run. Try it and see. Good luck.

Yes I have felt like that. It is depression I think., you may need to talk to someone who is a professional....they would be able to hel and reccomend something that would help. Thats what I did, and no I'm not saying medication or even going to a "shrink" but just having someone to talk to will help.

yes, and all of our loved ones can never take away that throbbing pain we feel after a loss- it's wonderful to have a support system, but no support system can ever replace the love we lost. in time, obviously, we accept the loss and feel less lonely when we can talk about that loss with others who knew and loved him/her too.

i was recently invited to an exclusive club with about 20 other people, where we were served an excellent meal, fine wine and entertainment.
And even though I was surrounded by people I knew, I have never felt so alone.
