I'm kind of irregular on my periods, but I'm TTC, so I've been tracking my CM. The first day of my last period was August 7th and it lasted 5 days. I had sex on the 11th, 19th, and 21st. I didn't really notice the CM to be clear egg white, but know, I'm noticing that it's white (not clear), sticky, and stretchy. What is this? I've had no bleeding or spotting.

You could be ovulating late since you said you aren't regular. Is it sticky and stretchy like egg whites? With Egg White Cervical Mucus, it can be clear or white and sometimes even pink. If you were on a regular cycle you would have ovulated on the 21st or right around there. I would track temps because if you are irregular and not noticing changes in your mucus, then you may not be ovulating every month. If you track temps, you would be able to see if you were ovulating. The only problem with tracking temps is that the go up during and after ovulation. This is often times too late to conceive. You would need to have sex in the days prior to ovulation to give the sperm time to get to the egg. Do some research on your fertility so you can use the signs that work best for you. Good luck!

Any chance you've got a mild infection, yeast or otherwise?
I always found tracking temps to be much more reliable for me. You do have the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, right?
