I hate blondes. Why can't they all just die? (not really just making an example)

Now do you realize how really idiotic your question sounds? I imagine you hate the smell of rotting flesh right? well without many kinds of flies it would smell like that for alot longer.... On top of that just because YOU don't like flies doesnt mean they should all die for your benefit, many other creatures of this earth would die if thier food source of flies was taken away. I really can't stand how people can be so selfish as to not consider the consequences of such an act as eliminating an entire species. Just goes to show how humans think only of themselves.

The answer to your question is simply... They cant all just die for your benefit, and while thier extinction might make you happy it would spell death for thousands of other creatures..... it would be an ecological disaster if flies were eliminated from the earth.

Sorry, I didnt mean to sound rude but this is about the tenth question I have read where someone says they hate whatever insect and then says they should all die.... I can't believe with all of our technology, and intelligence, that is the only solution that can be thought of. I am sorry if I was rude but it is starting to irritate me when people talk of insect genocide so casually. As far as I am concerned it would be just as wrong to do it to insects as it is to do it to people.

I hate flies and mosquitoes, too, but all in all, they are an essential part of many ecosystems. If you were to just exterminate all the flies and pests in the world at this very moment, an immense food source for birds, other insects, and other creatures would be elimated, and that would endanger them, and possibly drive those species into extinction. The animals who ate those extinct creatures would die off with their food source eliminated, and basically, a domino effect would occur. It is quite possible that in the end, we humans could die out (perhaps it depends on if we exterminated all pests or just this one species of fly - you know, it varies). Fiddling with the intricate food webs of ecosystems can lead to dire results.

So, unfortunately, we're just going to have to deal with those pesky flies. I hope you have your fly swatter.

Hope this helps! Fair winds.

They will, pretty soon. But then the offspring will inherit their kingdom. What the hell did I just say. Flies are useful because they consume ****, which leaves us with a lot less ****. Flyshit isn't as bad as humanshit. You can hardly smell it.

It's mosquitoes I hate. Let's work on getting rid of them first. All they do is carry bad disease. Malaria, West Nile, whatever, what are mosquitoes good for except to feed bats? So we have a few fewer bats? How bad is that?
