Simply this. If you purchase a membership at a Gym, and write a check on the spot for that membership, they are telling you that your money is now non-refundable. You paid for it so use it. no refunds. This is considered a face to face transaction, and it is doubt full that even a credit card company could get you a refund if you paid with a card. however, if you can prove gross misconduct or you have been greatly mislead, you may be able to get a Judge to grant you a refund in a civil matter. my advice, ask for a week trial membership before handing over any funds. most places will allow some concessions as this.

It means that whatever amount you paid for the membership, it will not be returned to you should you decide to leave at any time once you have signed the membership contract. It means what it says. Should you not understand any part of a contract, you should ask about it before you sign and keep asking until you do understand all of it.

Usually if you have a membersip to a gym they either deduct from a bank account or you have pay all up forn. If you don't pay you can't go. Must memberships are non-refundable. That means if you had paid you don't get your money back so you need to go or just write it off as I just threw monwy out the window.

Neither one is refundable they are just trying to say if you get tired of it in a month you won't get your money back on months you are not going to use it. Most of the time the more you pay ahead the cheaper it is. If you can pay on a month to month basis for a while to see if you will stick with it try that for a while.

I don't believe so...once places like that get your money, they don't like to give it up. One woman forged my name on a sheet in the contract, & they couldn't understand why i didn't want to deal with them. I never got my money back, it was an expensive lesson, but I learned it well...
