Ok so I bought these vans old schoold shoes a few weeks back. And I later found I got terrible blisters from them. I love the shoes. The blisters are on the back of my ankle. Should I get rid of the shoes or is there a way to get rid of the blisters?

Go to the drugstore and in the section where they keep shoe inserts, they have stuff called moleskin. Cut it in a square and cut out a circle for the blister and stick it to the area (they have a sticky back). It's a bit time consuming, but you can wear the shoes with the blister and once the blister is healed just cut out little squares where the blister was and you won't get any more.

I've always gotten blisters with new shoes, especially when they are a different brand or style from what I've been wearing. Callouses build up, and the blisters stop forming.

There are pads you can buy to put inside your shoes in that location. Look at your local drug store. You can also buy a material called "moleskin" also at the drug store. You can either put it inside your shoe where the problem is (probably over a seam) or put it on your heel. Cool shoes...keep 'em...just fix the problem.

Were the shoes too small to begin with?

You can get insoles to wear that will give you a bit more cushioning.
