How do you make aim font fade into diffrent colors?

Okayy well i have a windows 98 computer and i have the latest AIM & a lot of my friends fade their colors n stuff and i have no clue on how to do that..and i really would want to know and i already have applesauce downloaded on my computer but thats not how u fade colors thats just to make custom colors So does anyone out there know how to do that if so pleaseeeeeeeeee help!!!

i havent the slightest idea, but my best advice would be to ask the people that you know can make the font fade, how they do it.
