I think it would be a wonderful thing if all the antiquities were returned to lavish museums in the countries of their origins. But it won't happen.

And really, if you think about, many places don't have the facilities to have antiquities. The world shouldn't be in the dark about them because of that.

However, Egypt does, and should get their antiquities back. It won't happen, but it would be nice. I know Zahi Hawass, the Director of Antiquities for Egypt, is hell-bent on it, and I approve. But England is not about to give up the Rosetta Stone, or Germany the bust of Nefertiti, or Rome it's obelisk.

Yes, and what is important is the head of Queen Nefertiti which is located now in Egyptian museum in Berlin.
lots of other treasures around the world which have been stolen during the previous occupations. But Lets talk about the sense, do you expect to see the Big- Ben in Paris or the statue of liberty in Rome. I strongly believe that these treasures should be returned back to Egypt.

No. Why? Egypt is a land that has been overrun by many nations over time. Instead, let everyone enjoy whatever where it is.
