IAM AN ATHEIST
as far iam concerned there is no god but there is some kind of supernatural force which science cannot explain.
I myself placed a theory on why i dont believe in GOD
for example lets take our earlyman, while he was using the stone as a tool he thought that it was stronger than him as he hit it hard,so then he thought that there may be a supernatural force and he also thought that he looks like him so using that stone he made a structure and as generations want on there was modifications to that and now most of you offer flowers and do pooja's.....
and if something unusual happens superstitiously you believe that god has done it not even thinking that there might something
scientifically out there.
SCIENCE vs FAITH
when i asked a theist why tsunami occured he says that god got angry so he throwed it on earth,i say what on earth r u speaking
WE ALL KNOW THAT TSUNAMI WAS A NATURAL CALAMITY

IF U DO SOMETHING WRONG DONT GO TO GOD AND SAY
PLEASE FORGIVE ME,i say no one will forgive u instead go in front of the mirror and introspect yourself then u will know what mistakes u made and correct it.

Scietifically, Historically, Genetically, Theoritically, Theologically it can be centum proved that there is a Super Power that is God.

It is very simple to prove the existence of God to those who deny the reality. Those who deny the existence of God should prove to the world the non-existence of God.

Those who belive the existence of God need not to prove since they accept and belive in the omnipotence of God.

Those who invent and discover any thing on the universe is based on a model which is already there on the universe. Man can never claim any invention indigenously becuase the model was given to him on the universe by the God.

Hence it is necessary and an obligation on the part of the man to belive the existence of a Super Power that is God.

I'd like to tell you my idea about religion.
Religion is a guide for the human beings. It's been created by men to lead men not into evil things (those things that may create destruction in one way or another). God is an imaginative being who does not necessarily exists to explain the things we humans knew today. Simply, because religion talks about God, then God becomes OUR true guide for a better life. But the God I am talking about is not someone who could have possibly exist to QUESTION his existence. If you do, STOP right there, or you'll negate the logic of the existence of religion. As the believers say, YOU'LL BE IN GREAT CHAOS.

God exists . it is not the way the religions say . God is not aperson who is watching you like a policeman to keep record of whatever you do every day just to reward you for what he thinks is good in you or to punish you for whatever he thinks is bad in you. The very concept of god was invented by some inteeligent man in the past to enable humans to liv an orderlysociety with minuimu opf fear and lossog life and person . The concept also gave men some freedom and solce from the constnt fear of death.by promissing a non -existent life after death.
But still it has caused as much misery to man as it was intended to benefit .
One fact no honest man whomsoever he might be .can not deny is this :
Ther are billions of people who do not believe in any god of the hindu eligion. So also there are billions who do t believe in ?Christ and also there are billions who do not believe in Alla . similarly there are billions who do not believe in any god too .all thse people do live in peaxce much more than any one who perhaps believe in any of them.+
But none of these people can live even for a few seconds withoutr air . If god is somethng that created you , it is nature . ifit is somethng that sustains you , it is nature . Ifit is something that would destroy you , it is nature . if itr is something that would re-crate you and recycle you , it is nature.if it is that that created all the 'god incarnatre in this world and created and sustained and killed all the sainta , Messiahas and prophets , it is still nature .
The universe , that is the creator of the nature the /god that created eveything in this world , is the god of God . It is always working and neer ceases tro functiion .If things ,all lives would cease to exist if the god stops functioning , it is electron that is found incessantly working in all the atoms of all elements and creates all elemtns incombination with proton is God . But for which notheing in this world could exist . all animat and even inanimat4 things have these energy particles working incessantly even before th time of the Big Bang . It was these that ormed th primordial matter and caused the bigang to crate the univers and all th matters in it . It is every where and in all things animate and inanimate . That is why god is omnipresent . That isd wyhy god omniptotent . it is the cause of all knowledge and the life of yur vain and creates and destroys everything . so it is pmniscient too. No man ,no being is ever out of sight of this god and this God is slo never out of sight of man.
It is this god is the life of eveything . But does not take any opart in whatever you do . It does not create and maintain any hell like a penitentiary or any heaven for any one . It is the humans that make life the hell or heaven here .It is not athiestic to say this for it is truth and it is ingratitude on thepart of man not torecognize somethg that has created him and sustained him . a man kills millions of his brothers and sisters in a compettition before he gets in to the egg in the womb of his mother . Is he a sinner then ? No . The death of millions of the spermatoza in the womb of a woman efore conception is like the cutting of yur nail and hair only. it is alive . but has no brain and nerves to regiser any thing . like the nailsand hairs .but do nt feel when cut . But religion is foolish even her and is bannig abortion and contraceptive . Religon in the oldest form is the cruelest bane of teh socities. it has done more harm that help to humanity as it as been in the grip of fools all over the world . these religions would lead men to mutual destructiion. To see the nature of true nature of God please read Bhagavad Gita .(No vernacular versuion 0 read an English translation by a non -Hindu to have an impartial and unbiased interpretation of God .

It is stated in the Brahma-samhita that the astanga yogis who can travel at the speed of the mind cannot attain Govinda, the Supreme Lord, even after millions of years of searching. The materialistic scientist is a puny thing in comparison to the yogis who are able to transfer themselves to any planet in the cosmos simply by their meditation. Yet, even for such yogis the Lord is unattainable. The only method for knowing God is bhakti, devotional service to the Lord. This is stated directly by the Lord in the Bhagavad-gita. The Supreme Lord is the master, we are His servants. He reserves the right of not being known by anyone who is not fully surrendered to Him in transcendental, loving service. No one can know God by the force of technology or thoughts or meditation. But He will immediately reveal Himself to the person who loves Him. This is just common sense really.

Deciphering between the perishable and the non-perishable stuff in us is enlightenment, and confusing the two is living hell.

We give the perishable stuff in us more importance than the Non-Perishable stuff in us. So as a result, we get obsessed by it, we get obsessed about TV serials and celebrities and when they end we get heart broken and collapse. We even make our jobs our lives, we think we are defined by our career, our pay check and the when we can no longer earn a living we collapse, instead of simply accepting the inevitability of all life. We get stuck on our body define our self esteem on it, not recalling that one day we will have to drop it too, like an old piece of rag.

We gloat on human achievements, its reach into outer space and human thought that has reached beyond all limits and understood God and all the Nature’s laws and functioning of the spirit world and cosmological construct of the universe, we even have begun to disapprove of anything called a higher power as if all that we see or can prove is the empirical truth the stand alone truth, and what we cannot debate or prove cannot be a fact of life.

Yet we know nothing about, who we are, what will happen to us, one day when all that we define ourselves with will be gone, as it definitely will be one day in close future.

Though the fact is that one of these days, our sun will use up all its energy and expand into a giant inferno and will expand to engulf the entire solar system within its flames, and so will all man's achievements be dissolved into its flames.

And another fact is that even after that day, there would still remain one thing of us, the thing that would be the most interesting if we wonder about it, now - The Soul.

We worry about the perishables so much that often the non-perishable stuff in us gets ignored totally. We have based our lives on the perishable commodities and agendas, and in the end we perish too, along with all the things we have held so dear to us all our lives, which turn out to be empty and unfulfilled. Instead if start finding what is everlasting in us and celebrate just that, we would be far more happy and satisfied in life.

We try to find God, even prove or disapprove of His existence, while we hardly no anything about ourselves, who we are within, it is fact that those who know anything about themselves, hardly ever bother about God, they knows things as they are. The rest keep busy discussing and debating God, while missing happiness and God altogether.

Especially those who are most unhappy try real hard to disapprove God, as if to keep some kind of revenge or get even. They believe that if at all there was some kind of God, He would come down to fix their lives, while the truth is that God himself awaits for us to take onus of our lives and change all that we can with all our might, instead we either pray and do nothing else or simply give up on God and our lives and curse God later. In both the cases it’s our loss, while we wait for God to show up it is who waits for us to show up, and do our share of work, of bringing light into our lives. The Sun has always been shining, it is we who have to get up and draw the curtains to let the light in.

All the wonders don't just happen randomly. How can anyone gazing at stars not feel the awe of the power of GOD? How can anyone studying the complications of quantum physics not amazed at the power of this Creator? How can anyone researching human brains not awed at the wonder of the structure and functions of our brain cells? How can all these wonders JUST HAPPENED without a creator???

Note: I am not a church-goer but I believe that God exists.

Your question reminds me of the mystical story from the Bible about Jacob who sees a LADDER to Heaven, and in which the bottom of the ladder is set up on the earth and the top of it reaches to Heaven.
"And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." Genesis 28:10-17
I like this story a lot, because I believe that Jacob's ladder can be a metaphor to anything, including science. I do believe that science can be a "ladder" to God, a mean to meet God. Your ladder might be something else.
Yes, I do believe that a superior power exists, name it God or something else. The belief in Divinity is written in our DNA. There is no man on Earth who doesn't believe in some kind of God, even atheists.

I would argue that even if our thoughts keep expanding unto infinity, there's more infinity ahead of us where God could be. Thus it would still be impossible to reach him.
