Please help? Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

Big mistake my friend! I got a number of virus' from limewire and it totally ruined my computer (currently have a new one)...most places to download music or games are full of virus' and all kinds of things that will do harm to your pc. I'm sure your not doing anything wrong it's just what's happened to your pc. Do a search for virus scans and download a free one if you don't have one already. First I would totally delete limewire but even with that you will be left with adware that won't delete. Don't try a restore because you will just be taking the virus and all the other problems with you. You will need someone who knows about computers to actually fix the whole mess. I'm sorry your having all of these problems but this is what happens when we try to get something for free. Believe me I've learned the hard way! Good luck

As in the above posts it sounds like you have a virus/s try running http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm
it wont remove cookies and some programs but should remove most virus`s and best of all it`s free hope this helps and lol install some decent anti-virus software be4 running lime wire again and scan everything you download b4 you open it

Limewire is killing your computer. Seriously, Limewire is infested with viruses and spyware. Get your computer checked asap before you have to buy a whole new computer all together.

it may be a virus. with file sharing, this is often one of the really bad side effects.
