If not, then what do you think is the phrase du jour here?

I am glad there is someone else who is driven up the wall by the 'speak du jour' in America besides me. 'That's what I'm talkin' about' is way up on the list. How about 'they have a lot on their plate'? 'FABULOUS!' 'AWESOME!' 'thinking outside the box' 'I am a survivor of ____________' 'metrosexual' 'goy' 'I live for ______' Sometimes what people are saying sounds to me like a patchwork of these inane phrases. Where has intelligent discussion and communication gone?

My sought after word is through far "regardless of you do for a fisherman ;he will stay as a fisherman".this isn't something invented right here yet is properly a quite properly universal word. The unorthodox collaboration word is likewise hilarious yet loses it really is attraction immediately. i have by no skill beloved "lol" and that i have not used it in this talk board. i do not supply a hoot isn't a sturdy one both.

Since snakes on a plane I'd guess "motherfuckin" is it. I say this because it was even on the Daily Show and they said it like 16 times.... as a teen I liked saying it myself.... Not so much these days.... And honestly I don't care what the favorite catch phrase is as long as it comes from someone with real talent....not something like " that's hot"

Well its the most used lingo, i think most Americans don't know how to speak English therefore most use phrases and slang most of the time.

I'd say no, but it probably depends on where you live. I hear "bite me" a lot and everyone seems to be copying Larry the Cable Guy with "git 'er done".
