1st of all- to Dirtydog- I am Canadian and we do have a neighbor who is a total idiot- His name is Bush. There is no country with a more unstable government than Pakistan, , they have nuclear weapons and have never used them. It has always been the policy of the USA , that being prepared is the best way of protecting yourself. Why do you think the attacks on North Korea have just remained as rhetoric- Doubt exist as to just what they have. Also there is no oil there.
Also Israel has more than once, proved itself to be a terrorist state and the Zionist goal is to extend Israel to the Euphrates River in Iraq. As you stated the US has used it twice, not to defeat Japan, as capitulation was very near, but to intimidate the USSR. Also I believe Iran should be allowed to develope for peaceful purposes.
Britains empire days ended after WW 1, Then it was the USSR until 20 or so years ago. Now the USA is going at it full tilt.
Since Canada has the 2nd largest oil reserves, next to Saudi Arabia and one of the largest reserves of fresh water in the world being next door to a nation with a "wingnut" in charge is a bit intimidating.

1) World is trying to stop the proliferation of Nuclear Weapons since the more people that have it the more likely someone will use it and start WW3.
2) The previous owners have all been kept in check by M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction) to prevent it's widespread use. The Middle East has demonstrated over the course of the last century their utter lack of regard for self preservation and seem to think dying would be a great reward...yeah hand that man the launch codes.
3) Iran SIGNED A TREATY saying it would not create nuclear weapons.
4) If Iran has them then Iraq will want and get them which will make Syria, Lebanon, and everyone else in area get them..and again so many fingers pointed at button it is inevitable that someone will slip on purpose or by mistake and push the button.
If you DO think Iran has the right then you MUST also believe your neighbor has the right to create and store large amounts of explosives and biological hazards in the apartment next to you

Nuclear weapons could never be used against any usa via fact it could spark a set of activities which could end our species. the priority with Iran could be solved without pressing the vast crimson button and risking our survival. the U. S. are already making their bunker buster bombs synods effective with the intention to break Iran's nuclear centers in the event that they opt for to accomplish that. i'm in little question that the international will never and could never enable Iran to have nuclear weapons and spark a nuclear hands race in a risky area, this could be prevented in any respect expenditures yet no longer with using a nuclear weapon. Iranians do no longer need to die via gov't idiotic race for nuclear hands. Israel will end Iran on cooperation with the U. S. and others. Iran, in my opinion, threatens the protection of the full planet and might't be depended on with a nuclear weapon which they could little question sell to terrorist firms and could gladly take a seat returned at the same time as a nuclear device is detonated in Tel Aviv or the U. S..

Iran thinks the jews should wiped off the face of the earth. Remind you of anyone? The leader of Iran is a madman. I do agree that bush should not trusted with any bombs, Overall America can be trusted with nuclear weapons. We dont want them or anyone else that believes a certain race should be extermanated to have the capability of doing so.

Someone has to tell Iran they can't have nuclear weapons. But the only countries doing the preaching should be those who have NO nuclear weapons and are signatory to the non-proliferation treaty. Stop the hypocrisy already! If no nuclear-free state has the good sense to stand up and be counted, then leave it up to El Baradei and co. But if you have nukes, get rid of them first or shut up.

THAT, is a very good question. It's OK for some....why won't Bush even talk to the leaders of Iran?? It's the same old "head in the sand" politics. This administration is the most closed minded I've ever seen. Even if this Amedinejan is another "evil doer", do we simply ignore him and hope it will go away either by force or sanctions??? America used to be a world leader and able to sit down and talk with people. Even with Reagan and the so-called "evil empire", we still had intelligent discussion with people we didn't agree with. It's insane..............

Nuclear proliferation. The more countries that have access to enriched uranian, the more countries who create an atomic weapon, the more likely it becomes that this weapon will be used. Especially countries such as Iran that have beliefs about war bringing for the coming of their messiah. Bush and our presidents of history all agree.

USA sees people in Iran as Unstable religious fanatics that have no self control. They have openly said they want to destroy Israel. If they had Nuclear weapons it would spark a war That the world would get involved with.

Does the world have a moral equivalency clause? Do you trust Iran? I certainly don't. The US and other nations have pledged to reduce nuclear arsenals, and also should be committed to limit proliferation in non-nuclear states. The 'we have them so why can't they' argument might be good in kindergarten when it comes to gum, but in a modern global environment it just doesn't wash.

I don't remember hearing about that bonehead bush wanting to use it but I wouldn't put it past him! Anyway, considering how unstable the middle east countries are do you really want them to have nuclear bombs??? Ask your self that!
Yeah, we (the USA) used them once... but at the time it seemed to be the only way get a crazy nation (that attacked us first) to stop fighting with us.
