When you consider the alternative of taking a day off work, and driving your car about 500 miles, I think it's absolutely F******* brilliant that you can pay a few pennies, and send crap all over the country, or even the world.

Can I have a bite out of your sweet juicy melons?

1st babe don't ever apologize for a sense of humour - if some humourless t*at has a moan - then fu*k em. As for postage - I think its a scam - they make enough money. On the news the woman repping the PO said it was a re-balancing exercise. I will just try and keep my snail mail letters to friends in the standard envelope!

its not very informative, they said that everyone has recieved informationa bout it, i beg to differ!
and besides why are they trying to get things complicated, its even more reason why people are using alternatives, not only is the post slower than e-mail or whatever, its also getting more expensive
and who was having a go at you for having a sense of humour?
this place would be BLAND without some humour! keep it up

Sorry to have missed your humour - some people need to lighten up in my opinion.

Postal charges hey.....erm....not really sent much stuff yet but I am sure it will only lead to further rises in cost.

Keep up the great questions though - and the humour. Don't let the bar stewards grind you down, as Winston Churchill said!

I have a sense of humour and appreciate yours so stay with it! As for the post I think it makes it all a bit complicated I think in order to resolve the confusion they ought to have post box holes to match so you know which postage amount is right for you!

I am disgusted.. how the hell are people like me who are a little thick supposed to get on in life with this change?

I am really going to struggle.. but at least it has helped to keep all those post office counters open that were just crying to be closed down not soo long ago!!

Robbing Ba**ar*s

its silly because it probably means when we buy things from ebay in the few weeks following the changes sellers will charge more for postage than is necessary as they are unsure how much it will now cost.... and i certainly have not recieved this so called booklet stating the changes... i believe royal mail have let us down yet again

Hi

I can see why the post office would want to bring them in.

Luckily they work out well for me with the shape, size and weight of the letters/parcels I sell on eBay. It actually works out 5p cheaper.

Weird but true

The time in weighing & measuring every item is going to create hell at post office counters. Somehow I cant see it lasting too long.
