Thnks Folks! I finally decided not to wear and make a fool of myself.. but i like some answers which suggested otherwise..its gonna b difficult for me to choose the best answer! :(

Aww Hell NO! Finally some asks the tough questions. Questions that need to be asked and answered.
Just say no. You might be feelin' yourself one day, thinking, "I can pull this off." Well, I'm here to tell you that you can't. You just can't. No matter who you are, you do not want the kind of attention you are going to get. I don't care who you are. I don't. I really don't. And if you have every thought about wearing this combination in public, I don't care who you are, because you are not the kind of person I would care to know.
As for alternatives, try either or. Either the shirt or the pant. If they are so special that you must wear them give them a chance to stand on their own merit. Buy a shirt or a pant that doesn't compete for attention and alternate.
If this doesn't help, then you are beyond help and I don't care to know you. I really don't.

Yes you certainly can do that. Make sure that both of the patterns are relatively subtle, especially the pinstrip. Mixing patterns is fine and actually more visually stimulating if done correctly, it is a fine line though before you cross into the absurd. But honestly, to heck with fashion and wear whatever makes you feel confident. Confidence is going to carry an outfit better than any pattern, or lack thereof. Moreover, make sure you are wearing flat front pants instead of pleats....

NO! You should never mis-match with patterns. The outfit has too much going trying compete for attention.
Wear solid color with a pattern. Checked shirts with a solid color pants, preferably a color that's in the checks.
Wear a top that matches the pinstripe. It will bring out the stripe in the pants.

Depends... if you have a really light checked shirt, like beige on cream, then I think that would look cute with a pin stripe pant.

Depends on colors, fabrics, etc. Black pants with a narrow gray pinstripe with a gray and black checked silky shirt and black tie would be fine. You can never go wrong with a button down white shirt. But if you have a quirky attitude or special artistic flair--dont worry about it.

It could be! According to traditional fashion trends, heck no you shouldn't... but the present time fashion could say it's a go, depending on your personal style, the colors involved and so forth. If you feel good wearing it... go for it!
(unless this is for a job interview or something... then go more traditional!!)

I personally don't think so. It sounds like too much to me. My taste is a lot more conservative though. Maybe more of these crazier fashion trends would be okay with that.
