This will probably eliminate particpants answering just to obtain 2 points but may also affect the popularity of Yahoo! Answers.

This is not true and the reason it would not work is that the worst answer out of a group of answers is not necessarily a bad answer. Now, I would love it if they could dock some of the answers (You know the ones I mean) but that would put too much toll on yahoo, they have enough trouble keeping out the garbage let alone the stupidity.

I think it would be a good idea, although it may not work. Many users of this forum just want a straight forward, helpful answer to their question. I know I would rather get a decent and helpful answer rather than a rude, hateful or vulgar answer any time. But it's not just the worst answer that needs to be looked at. There are many useless ones also, how will you decide? Thank you for listening to the many complaints though!

Answers on Yahoo is going somewhere, but not where it was intially intended. It is changeing to another direction.
The unity of friendship building amongst people is growing at a fast rate. Personals will become obsolete where Questions and Answers is covering all the bases from dating to meeting and sex is on the rise with several people already have met the person they chatted with.

if is is true what you say then
in the point of view of persons who asked a question , it is good coz that person would not get any vague or meaningless answers just to gain 2 pts.
on the other hand people who answer just to have 2 pts would stop and they would have to use their brains if they have to get a best answer and gain points.
whatever yahoo does to answers. i would not leave yahoo answers.

It's probably a good thing. Stupid answers are irritating and you can tell when someone is just trying to get their 2 pts.
