Well if you have a LAN cable you can connect your computer to the other computer. Place your favourites folder in the "Shared Folder" and then go to control panel and check whether the LAN connection between your computer and the other computer is set up.
Follow the prompts and you'll be able to retrieve the "Shared folder" on the other computer from your network.

You can save them to a jump drive and then transfer to the other computer. Or you can email them from one to another or set up a network between the two compters and transfer information back and forth that way.

The simplest way to transfer files from one computer to another is to email them. Get 2 email addresses, Yahoo and MSN for example, and then email one address from the other, and attach files. Go to the second computer, log on for the second email address, and when clicking on the attachements, answer yes to save to a file.

Your favorites is a file you can either copy to disc, copy via your network or email to yourself.
You can use a file copy (your Favorites file can be found in Explorer, under your user name, in Documents and Settings), but this is much easier.
Go to the "File" option in Internet explorer, then to Inport/Export. Use the wizard to export your favorites. Put the file where you can find it, then either use one of the choices above to copy it to the new computer. Then use the same wizard to import to your new browswer.

Navigate to the following directory and copy the Favorites folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\***User***
Save it to the appropriate user directory on the new PC. You could ZIP it up to make it more portable.
