MAYBE, just MAYBE someday, they might ACTUALLY do that against a Republican and NOT one of their "own".

Yes they claimed instant victory like they always do - anyone remember Dan Rather, Al Gore & florida 2000? The polls hadn't even closed when Rather put the cart before the horse and stated that Gore won. The same is true here. Loser Lamont won a primary and still has to win the senate seat in the November election. Currently Lieberman is way ahead of Lamont in the polls and in November Lieberman will win the seat from Lamont as an independant. Moderate liberals will support Lieberman who has solutions not Lamont who ran on a platform against Bush.

They probably think they have....but what will they think when he wins again in the real election...as an independent......Lieberman will not lose his seat.......and at that moment, the Libs will have lost the biggest election in the country.......and their desires will be shown as lacking...and maybe then, they will come back strong, and get out of the 60's

LOL!! Yea its amazing. If i could vote for Lieberman right now, I would support him as an independent. Dems are just so stupid. They are never going to get office at their rate.
