why not, when your online its your thoughts that matter not your name or id. You could be a clown but online people can take you as a rocket scientist. Thats the best part about the internet. Also if someone gets pissed at you they cant track you down. It also helps prevent I.D theft.

most of people using the chat rooms for immoral things, also i think its a kind of lie on other people.
