I have just recently split up with my boyfriend and he dumped me over text..I was living with him@his mums house, but now I had no choice but to move into his best mates place. He wont talk to me, hasnt even explained why he got rid of me. Has just said he needed time on his own. All his friends know why but why wont he talk to me?Do you think he has a guilt trip going on?And what do I do about talking to him, how do I get round it-as its also splitting the group of friends up as he wont go anywhere I go with his mates?Help ta guys

You are going to have to be patient - no matter how hard it will be. The more you try and find out the more he will resent that and drift farther away.

It is not up to his friends to tell you he needs to do that.

Well break-up by text... not that great, he couldnt do it to your face which means there might be something that hes hiding. Eventually the reason should come out sooner or later but in the meanwhile don't let this worry you too much, i can understand your curiousity though, and probably staying at his best mates place isnt helping, as you said they know, so this is something they can tease you with.
I think your best bet is just move out and ignore the lil cowardly prick, seriously, break-up by text? thats abit low call.
I think your pretty lucky to have separated when you did, sure hes probably done something thats caused a guilty conscious but lets look at it, at least he aint with you anymore?
You deserve soooo much better than a text! go find a proper guy, cus you can try and talking to him but the effort will probably be pointless.

If he dumped you by text then he is little better than a lowlife. Why should you modify your behaviour for him. Do what you would always have done before and let him deal with it. You didn't provoke the situation. As to living with his best mate, I suggest you try to find somewhere else if you can as it isn't a good idea really is it? Any relationship within a group of friends that breaks down causes anguish within the group but it will resolve itself naturally

I had a girlfriend break up with me on a email once. It is absolutely cowardly and shows a lack of class. I would just count your lucky stars and move on. Find someone else.

You have to give him time to tell you. Sounds like the more you press him the more he'll push away. Maybe if you explain to him why you want to know in detail then he'll understand and open up otherwise you're just going to have to wait.

Hes obviously done something that he feels he cant tell you, maybe cuz he doesnt want to hurt you even more???
You should leave him a while to think about what hes lost & wait for him to come back to you...
if he doesnt hes not worth it!
Good luck bbz.x
