I'd like to hear what other people dream about.

Bless your heart. Yes, I have done that also. It's awful isn't it? The dream seems so real it's hard for our feeling to tell the difference. But, as the day goes on, it will get better. You will still remember what you dreamed, but it won't bother you quite as bad. :)

Yes. Sometimes, I've woken myself up with a little whimpering. I think that the dream(s) involved some sort of loss... but I don't recall specifically... maybe a loss of a person (they died), or my pet (I do remember my rabbit dying in a dream), or being lost (I can't find my way, so I give up and cry about it in the dream). It doesn't happen that often for me, though. More often, I will wake myself up laughing because something was so extremely funny in my dream that I actually laugh out loud -- the noise and usually the movement wakes me.

Yes. One time I woke up in tears after dreaming that my mother was killed in a war like incident. It felt so real and when I awoke, not only was I crying but I was extreemly pissed off and my heart was racing. This was about five years ago... and the most vivid example... but I've had a few "crying" dreams since then.

I had a dream years ago that my mother, who at the time lived alone in a different state came home and someone was in her house and was going to kill her. I began to cry so hard in my dream that I woke up crying. I ended up calling her in the middle of the night to make sure she was alright. I explained my dream to her and told her to check the house and make sure it was safe. Something I don't want to experience again.

Yes, once. This happened like 2 years ago. I dreamed that I was falling down a pitch black hole, with no light in sight, and then I suddenly hit the ground and died, and became a ghost, crying over my body, crying over the fact that I was dead, and I remember I actually woke myself up, from crying myself awake, I literally had tears running down my face and everything. Then I stopped and was like....ok....what just happened.

Freakiest. Dream. Ever.

Yes, maybe do once or twice a year regardless of my physical or mental health condition!

When I cry/scream in my dream, in my case, it's usualy over a silly thing - e.g. my sister took my book away - as if I suddenly became 7 yr-old in my dream!

Maybe I am trying to shed my tears in my adult years that I thought I should have done more when I was little...??

I don't think I've ever cried during or about a dream. I have woken myself up during a nightmare by yelling or screaming, though.

Yeah I cried a pair of cases in my sleep. The targets I cried in somewhat scare me because of the fact the two targets I had that made me cry became into often my mom leaving me or whilst my mom have been given injury. i think of people will cry of their sleep for issues that could ensue and does ensue in the real international.
