every now and then, in magizines or tv you hear of a celebrity making comments about the money they make and how it is not good enough for their needs. Why do they do this? dont they know how lucky they are to be where they are at?

The more money a celebrity makes, the more they are going to want to buy. If they're not making enough to support their spending habit, they're going to figure that they're not making enough money. Unfortunately, with money comes greed, and there is plenty of that in Hollywood. Celebrities tend to think they're entitled to a certain amount of money after a certain amount of time, and it's just a natural progression for them to forget what it took to get them where they are. A lot of them will say they feel "lucky", but I don't buy it. Most of them, especially the ones who are used to making large amounts of money all the time, are jaded and no longer have the same mindset they did before they made it big. Of course they don't "need" what they desire; we all know that, because we're living in the real world. However, they're living in a fantasy world in which they feel they should have everything they want, no matter what the cost. Until pay rates change and those in Hollywood get the money that they really deserve (which is NOT millions of dollars for one movie/episode of a show), this will not change. It's sad, but it's true.

That is because the more you make the more you spend. Also they are trying to live up to the "expectations" of how a celebrity is supposed to live. For example, wouldn't you be a bit surprised if you saw Tom Cruise driving a five-year old Honda Accord as his car? Most people....rich or almost poor live beyond their means...it is just a fact.

I think that myself. For example, when I got a raise at work, I still felt that I was living paycheck to paycheck.
I didn't understand. Well, I realized I was spending money more. Buying a $5 sandwich or a $1 drink adds up. Now, because you think you make more money than before, you buy more sandwiches and more drinks, more often.
Next thing you know, you're broke.

Because the spend like a celebrity...if they didn't go out every night, & buy Cristal for everyone, & buy a big mansion & have the biggest & best of everything, they could save some of those millions...
& why can't people stop using dangling participles....

Because they are dysfunctional. They are not humble and dont appreciate what they have. They have a so-called image they have to project that costs them money to maintain, like it's a lot of work or something. Who is complaining now? What they make could feed a Third World country.

The reason that they do this, is they get an inflated ego, they figure that now that they make it big its time to take care of themselves and family and friends. The money will always be there and so spend, spend, spend. M.C. Hammer is a great example, he spent and spent, now he is doing commercials about it.

I know it's crazy. They make so much and still complain. They spend it too fast and then they can't support their lifestyle. Everyone should look at Angelina Jolie she makes money and donates a third to charity....now that is a wonderful person

its because celebrities have to buy things that are 25+ times what they cost for us, just to show their status in the world of fame. they also think thay are the most important person so they have to make more than other less perfect stars.

yup! they make millions but they have the expense too they need to pay their security in high amts and see they have to make themselves look good they spend money like water on it and even their doctors are special celebrity docs charge high bill theese celeb undergo millions of surgery's and pay in millions
