The software to edit pdf files is expensive. When they send you a pdf that needs to be returned they generally want you to print it out, fill it in by hand and post it.

Yes, if they haven't done it properly (many don't I'va had a few) it's either a read only standard PDF or they've locked the forms they've created.
But, before resorting to the printing and writing, make sure yours is the latest version of Acrobat Reader as some older one's don't support forms.
As a deperate last resort, you can hit print screen, paste it into a graphics package (you'll have to do this a few times to get the entire form - stich it together and go from there with whatever type thingy your package has.
I'd email them and query personally...

Print it out, write down your answers and scan it back in and email it to the people. Make sure you write with a black pen, and you write firmly so all the letters will show up when you scan it back into the computer.
You need the more expensive version of Adobe Acrobat to edit pdfs. The free version most people have doesn't do it.

You need the professional version if it isn't a fill-in form. Guess you'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Print it out and type in the answers at a typewriter. You do remember what one of those is, yes?

Copy and paste the questions in to an email and then answer them and send the email. Try the link below too.

first check if it's not the type that you can fill in. if not - you can print it out, write your answers and then scan and email it. or you can import it into another program and use text boxes to fill in the appropriate areas (make textboxes no fill, no line).
hope it helps.

You need Adobe Acrobat (not just Reader) to edit a .pdf file.
(Download it @ Adobe.com for $299.)

I think you can copy and paste the text to word and fill it in and send it as a word document.
Good Luck!
