I know this sounds mean, but it is you against them.

Put chocolated laxative (Ex-lax) in their holes, as many of the holes as you can find. They will eat the chocolate, get diarrhea, and die underground where you don't have to worry about additional cleanup.

It is very hard to get rid of moles and there are a lot of old wise tales as to how to do it. The moles live off of grubs in the dirt so once they eat all the grubs they will move to some place else. Eating the grubs is beneficial to your lawn and dirt. also the moles are aerating the ground which is also beneficial. I would just leave them alone and let nature take its course

Get a dog! My dog thinks they're chew toys and so they avoid our yard at all costs now. You can also get the powder the that kills grubs in the lawn and garden section of Lowes or Home Depot. That's what moles eat and if you have no grubs you will have no moles.

Dont. Instead of trying to get rid of them live with them. The mole hills are very handy because they consist of ready sorted top soil. Just scoop it up and put it on your flower beds or in pots. If you dont want topsoil then collect it up. You can sell the stuff for £20 or £30 pounds a ton!

find the tunnels and put a stick of, unchewed Juicey Fruit gum down in the holes. Take it out of the paper first. The moles love anything sweet and they will eat the gum and it will become lodged in their throats and they will suffocate and die.
You can also get a wind whirly-gig and place near the tunnel. The vibration of the whirly-gig will scare off the moles.

Wow someone else remembers that Jasper Carrot sketch. V Good.
If you are prepared to kill them then you can get a mole trap or if you can get your hands on it and don't care about your garden then dynamite does the trick.

each day for 6 days put a hard boiled egg & a bar of chocolate down the mole hole, on the 7th day omit the chocolate, when the mole pops his head out & asks, where's my chocolate? HIT HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH A SHOVEL.

Sink some empty beer bottles in the ground, the wind blowing over then makes a noise and vibrate, or put something in the holes so you can smoke them out we used old engine oil on rags as it don't burn as quick as petrol, good luck in getting rid of the little sods.

Aww, don't kill them, they're really handy at aerating the soil. As someone else suggested, they will move on in time one the worms have all been eaten, one way to help them on their way is to put something noisy in their tunnels - the type of birthday card which plays a tune when you open it lasts for a while and does the trick!

Pop a hand grenade down the last hole to appear.

No seriously you need something to make an (ultrasonic) noise - and put that down the hole - that will get rid of your moles GUARANTEED!!!
