Keeping a web log on the Internet. A diary or journal. Writing about your life. But in practise you can write about anything. I have a icon on my Go ogle toobar I click that to go to Blogger when I'm in the mood and write a blog. You can also write them on Soulcast and that is a bit of a community - people tend to read each others blogs. Go to adsense and they will give you a reference number if you open an account. Google ads then appear next to your blogs and you get paid if anyone clicks on them. The minimum that pay out is $100 though. You can also put adsense and other adverts on your website. Check out my Home page on my website for an example.

Read my stuff on Newsvine and soulcast - is probably the best and click an advertisement. i want that $100 for my 100th birthday! LOL

Blogging is just like a place on the web where can have your say on the web. You can invite friends to view your site of restrict who can see it. It's fun Yahoo 360 is a good place to go It's easy to do you'll have one within 30 mins.

you can get started by using sites such as blogspot.com or if you want more customization play around with wordpress.
