Punjab has 5 rivers why not the govt go for hydro-electricity rather than waiting for something to happen? don't you agree that just depending on one source ( the Bakhra dam to churn out hydro-electric power ) is wrong and heavy dependence. I feel the govt should build a No of small dams (not huge ones) to satisfy our electricity needs. second people should also conserve, conservation is the key to more production! We do not need all lights in the house if only one room is being used right also the TV need not run all day if no-one is watching it.... there is so much wastage if all that is curbed there would be lesser problems.
