If the piercing is quite far back on your tongue there is less chance they'll notice it but your tongue will be so swollen you probably won't be able to talk as clearly an you normally would.

Not if you don't wear any jewelry in it when you are home, but the odds are you will either forget or someone will tell them.
By the way, I seen a special that showed the teeth of people with tongue piercings. The jewelry had eroded the enamel off their teeth and it looked terrible.

Get a time machine and not get your tongue pierced in the first place... oh, you were serious??? The best thing you can do for yourself is tell them. Honsetly that's what I'd do (if I didn't have the time machine), beacause if they find out later, they'll be even more mad than if you are just honest and tell the truth now!!!

I walked around for a year before my dad noticed mine. I mean I ate and talked sitting acrosss from him for that long and then one day the sun hit just right and he was like,"do u have one of them things in your tongue?"

sure they will notice it if u open ur mouth infornt of them
so u need to avoid direct talk with ur parents...
care while u eat food...dont put tongue out ...
better to do piercing with ur parents permission.... u will get their support.. for healing...it will take 2-3 week healing time

Uhm, do you all talk much? Seriously, in this day and age, are they that unhip? Just don't let them see the piercing on your...LOL! Then they would really be mad! LOL! LOL! I would line up some cheap rentals and what have you! ROTFLMAO!
Take your jewelery out when you know you are going to have to talk to them. LOL!

my mom didn't notice for a week, and it was only because i was mad and yelling and so she saw something.
if you really wanna be careful, get some pink ish colored acrylic balls, it will be less noticable than metal

just turn your head down when you talk to them and/or dont open your mouth much when you talk
but untill you stop talking funny, AVOID CONTACT AT ALL COSTS!!
it should buy you some time
