The only true "supplement" you can take is to work out and lift weights to build muscle. The fat feeds the muscle, which is a great trade off. All these miracle products on the market are just baloney. A good workout is the best way. Go for it.

Eat the right food, and portions.
Exercise.
Get enough sleep.
Don't smoke. Limit drinking, etc.
