It took me a long time to get used to sleeping with my wife.....I thought I would never get used to it, and yet now it feels weird if she isn't next to me.

p.s. We have been married 5 years and we met right here on Yahoo.

Yes, I think it is very hard. I never lived with anyone before I got married. So I find out my husband is a horrible snoring problem. It was awful, I would sleep on the couch! Then I for somereason like to run in my sleep! We are eventually getting use to each other though even though it was hard at first. Sometimes we don't get sleep though!

Congrats on meeting on Yahoo. My sister just got engaged to someone that she met on Yahoo also. Hes an amazing guy!

I was single for a looong time and I thought I'd never be able to sleep with anyone. I had no trouble sleeping with my husband from the get-go. Of course, we got a Cal King bed because he's very tall and we have 3 cats that sleep with us too - lol. I find it difficult to sleep when he's away on business.

No not really, at first you want to hold eachothe and cuddle all night but that calls for sleepless nights. It got harder sleeping with him five years later so we got a king size bed b/c we don't believe in separte rooms or beds. It is much better now, we both feel for one another through the night though and when he has to work third shift it is really no different I sleep well, we may cuddle when we first get into bed but after that he's on his side, I'm on my side and the cats in the middle!

I've been married 14 years and it took a long time to get use to my husband. Actually, now I sleep in another bedroom because he snores so bad. Has sleep apnea and refuses to use his machine.

If you have been sleeping on a queen size bed then sleeping with a man on a king size bed would be a tight squeeze. But isn't it better than sleeping alone?

We went the other way. Started out sleeping together fine, but I started snoring & she started getting restless. We take turns on the couch.

it took me a long time getting used to:
sharing the bed
sharing my money
sharing my space
sharing my time
sharing my food

but we have been married for 7 years now and I am glad that I stopped being so selfish!!!!

I'm still getting used to it. I like to sleep alone and sprawled out and no one touching me. I loved sleeping with my dogs though.
