I am a college student wishing to spend 2 years in Japan or Korea teaching English as a Second language. Anyone know which foreign schools are the best and how to apply for the position?
What are the minimum qualifications and how much is the compensation plan ? ( US dollars) Many thanks

Japan won't accept any teachers without a Bachelor's degree. It's the law. You'll also need a TESL or TEFL certificate that included supervised teaching practice.

One of the most respected programs is the JET. This program is good because it's sponsored by the government and you teach in public schools. They normally pay your airfare (it's reimbursed when you complete the contract).
