I have most often heard that used as a word describing someone as .. well .. not very smart .... short for "thick headed". I have also heard it used as a physical description not really meaning fat but more meaning muscular.

Well, referring to someone's appearance, it's a slightly kinder way of telling someone they're a little chubby.

Otherwise, it could mean that you're stubborn or slow in the head- that you don't get the point easily because you have a thick skull.

In the US, thick means FAT.

Fat is when the stomach is so far out, it sags toward the knees. Fat is when there's "cankles" (calf/ankle run together).
Fat is when there's tricep fat hanging.
If you don't have these, you are not fat. However, if you have "meat" on your bones, you can be considered "thick".
Not skinny, not fat, just thick.

Depends, two meanings...either you are heavy...weight wise, not necessarily heavy, but meat on your bones. Or thick skulled...basically it is hard for a thick person to get something through their head, bullheaded, stubborn, other words to describe thick.

it oftentimes skill human beings have an excellent form of meat yet no longer unavoidably fat. Like a woman with a round "vast" butt and larger thighs yet no abdomen fat mind-blowing out of the blouse. Interpretation is diverse for absolutely everyone.

Their saying your stupid. Thick or dense means the same thing. It means your brain is to thick for any reasoning to get through.

They're just saying that you're not skinny. Not really fat, but not skinny, more big boned, which doesn't mean you're fat.
