I think suicide is the act of a desperate person who has lost all hope. I don't personally believe you will go to hell for it because God is a compassionate being and will understand the person far better than we can.

Suicide is NOT Romantic or Brave, it is takeing the cowards way out of life. Being Alive is Brave....life is hard, stressful, sometimes a pain in the a** but in the long run worth it.
As for HELL...well I think that is all dependent on the person themselves.

This is a stupid question i am obviously only answering for a stupid 2 points. I don't know of any religion that says if you kill your self you will go to heaven. Please tell me by what means is killing your self a brave thing to do with the world in the state it is in today. Staying around to see how it all comes out sounds a bit more brave to me.

some will automatically say that you will go to hell. I am thankful that I am not God and don't have to make those tough decisions. I wouldn't say that either of your conclusions is the correct one. Killing your self is not an easy thing to do. When some one gets so torn apart and in such dis pare that they commit suicide, I believe that they are suffering from an extreme mental brake down. I think God is a better judge of that then I am.

I feel suicide is extremely selfish. Think about the people who you leave behind. The question of whether you would go to hell, I believe that only the giver of life should take life. Thou shall not kill says it all.

i think that its the cowardly way out and i guess that if you believe in christianity... then you'll go to hell

i had suicidal thoughts a few times (a LONG time ago) and back then I was a christian. believe it or not, the only thing that kept me from doing it was that I thought I'd go to hell and that scared me to death

lol... but now i'm agnostic and a lesbian... go figure... life is so much better now that i don't have to fear a hell

1 John 1: 9 Says If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse of us of all unrighteousness.

If
if your dead you can't confess anything until God! Think about this!

Suicide is morally wrong and if a person kills their self, how could you ask God to forgive you when your dead. Yes eventually you would be summons from the dead by God and would have to give an account of your sins then be judged and sent to hell. Nothing is that bad to kill ones self.

God bless
