Well of COURSE they're a load of rubbish. And yes, mine is frequently true, but that's because they're written in such a way that they can be broadly interpreted. Something like "you'll hear something important today" can mean so many different things that when you do something as common as turn on the radio to hear the traffic and find out your normal route is jammed -- Wow! that's something important! My horoscope is TRUE!!!! -- Yeah right.
Also, they say flattering things about you. Who would say "oh, that's not me" when they read "You're quiet, but deep" or "you try to always be nice to people".
Yup, load of rubbish.

Mine has been true when I've read it myself.
There is so much more to your horoscope than your sun sign. You have to factor what your rising sign is, where the other planets are at the time of your birth, how they aspect each other, where everything is in the sky that day and how they aspect each other and the places where they were natally.
Of course most quickie horoscopes are wrong. They are too general.

The ones that are published on a weekly/daily basis are aiming at a billion to one shot, the best way to get your true horoscope is to have a chart done and by a reputable person.

I find astrology is good at describing people's characters rather than predicting the future.
I think it is stupid to suggest that people's experiences for a day can be characterised into 12 different areas depending on your sign.
I use astrology when looking at potential partners to see if they will match my personality or not. But I don't take everything I read as gospel.

Sun sign horoscopes are not accurate.
Astrology charts that are cast based on date, time and place of birth are accurate. Transit charts (predictions) are accurate.

No, I think they are pretty much like everything else sometimes, well a lot of the times they could not be farther from the truth, however sometimes they leave you feeling like they are right on and the person who wrote them was looking directly at your life.

I agree with you. I don't really believe in horoscopes because I'm not who my zodiac sign says I am.

Yep, a load of crap!!
They are so none specific they are bound to be "true" often enough for suckers to believe in it. And how can there only be 12 "types" of people?

They're totally rubish. They are deliberatly vague so that they can be interpreted in a way that seems to make them true to the gullible.
But then we Geminis are a cynical lot.
