Im definitly a heterosexual female ( I know cos Ive tried the other side) and Im not into feminine lesbians, but whenever I meet a butch lesbian Im drawn to her?

No offence intended at all, but perhaps you may actually be slightly bisexual, with your own preferences towards the same sex being what they are as you described that.
There is nothing wrong or any shame to be attracted towards a certain "type". Myself, I am attracted to shorter, rounder women than the anorexic "bling bling" types.
But that's besides the point.
Anyway, there's all sorts of reasons you could be attracted towards "butch"-types females. Like I said, I think it could be a subconscious attraction towards the lesser feminine look which could represent in your subconscious a security factor that more feminine ladies lack, and that males often mistake with what they call "machismo".

All women's physical shape, size and curves are beautiful. Possibly the butch physique is appealing because it encompasses both that of male and female qualities.

You may have answered your own question... you are heterosexual but you find yourself attracted to the butch ladies because a butch lady has masculine characteristics which appeal to the hetersoxuality in you.

Maybe you are Bi-sexual, and the reason you like butch woman, is the fact that you like the idea of being dominated. if you have tried the other side, are you sure you are not Bi, and just havent found the right mate yet........Maybe you should ask yourself this question.
Question.....did you try the "other side" because you were curious?.....if so, then be very careful of who's feelings you are playing with.

i dont know why. i am a lesbian, and while i have nothing at all against butch girls....i just dont understand the attraction. i am more attracted to femme girls...that makes sense to me...opposite of your stereotypical male. being a straight girl and having attraction to butch girls does make sense to me...more like a guy, right? but more like a younger teenage guy....but gay girls that are femme attracted to butch girls...i dont get it

That's funny. It's happened to me a couple of times. Even with women that I didn't even know if they were lesbians or not.
I think for me, it's the idea that a woman's body is beautiful, but a woman who is beautiful, but could protect you like a man is just plain hot.

it's just personal preference. I have nothing against butch women, I've just never been physically drawn to them. my partner is much more femme than I am.

Its your personal choice...such as a man liking large women, or blonds, or women with large breast, or another man who looks feminine.
