I suppose this is a rhetorical question, but here goes....I guess it depends on what country you are in. In the U.S. It's not simply okay to kill anyone. It's understandable that someone might feel the need to, or might react violently enough to kill a pedophile, especially, if their child was molested by one, but no, it's not okay.
Give them over to the law, if they violate. Otherwise, it seems they are somewhat protected until they act.
