I take 3 pack of microgynon and a 7 day break. I had sex on the 16th day of the 1st pack. I am now a week into my 3rd pack. I was told by Dr i had slight blood in urine a 1 1/2 after sex & slight infection as i had been havin pains in kidneys. Since then that pain has gone&it is now 4 1/2 weeks since sex. I was not given antibiotics as it was a slight infection. I am getting the following symptoms&hav been for at least 3weeks now:- headache, hot flushes, slightly tender boobs, 2 or 3 white dots around the nipple area, bloated tummy, put on a few pounds (i never put on weight), occasionally feel sick, eating more, tired, moody, period pain cramps, twinges and stitches and backache and wind (sorry). Im just at a loss really - i have all these symptons. I know i should go to the doctor but think she will think im over reacting.
Im 23 and have been on pill for almost year. Took two preg tests both negative. Have not had period since sex as i am on the pill. Possibly pregnant?

Ive been on the same pill and taking it in the same way for the past year. I do sometimes take it couple hours late or early but im sure that wouldnt effect it. I always take it late at night before bed and just swallow it without a drink

You could be pregnant or it could simply be a side effect of the medication. Have you been on the same exact meds for the past year or have you changed recently?
I would go to the Doctor. She will not think that you are over reacting. If you are pregnant, then you need to get off of the pill right away.

This is a side effect of your birth control pills. Your body in confused into thinking you are pregnant. That's the problem with the pharmaceutical companies-- They down play all the bad side effects so the public will be lured into buying their products. # months on a hormone like the pill will mess up the way your body regulates your own natural hormones. Now you have SUPER PMS

i was on same pills after 7day break stopped taking them and got pg within must have been all but straight away i think you very nearlly answered your own question and with all the doubt in your mind id just go see a dr set your mind at rest either way if a urine test was neg may do a blood one (more accurate) and if you are pg then need to stop taking pills and think about what it is you need/want

If you have had unprotected sex at ANYTIME you could very well be pregnant. Home pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate light and room temprature can effect the outcome. I suggest you see a doctor.

Well, if you had sex, regardless of what you use, you could be pregnant. Abstinence is the only 100% way to avoid pregnancy.

You need to go to the Dr, she will not think you are silly. You could very well be pregnant. Go to the Dr ASAP.
