For summer, definately Anais Anais by Cacharel. It's really light and floral. Estee Lauder also make some very nice floral perfumes, a favourite of mine is called something like Pure White Linen, i think.
For winter, i prefer perfumes that are heavier, like Chanel No. 5. All perfumes that have a orangey, gold colour have fragrances that are much more suitable for winter.
I tend to wear one perfume for a long period of time and co-ordinate with the seasons. Also, the perfume gets absorbed into your clothes and so if you are wearing an item often, eg. a coat, then you don't want to be changing your perfume all the time.
In summer, make sure that you apply perfume to places that are covered with clothing as the sun can distort the fragrance, so keep all unboxed perfumes in a drawer.
Don't ever rub perfume as this crushes the perfume beads, just let it dry by itself.
