I don't think I have one singular 'great' achievment, it's more my life in general. At about 18 I came to terms with the fact that i would need to work hard, struggle, and make sacrifices to have the things I want in my life.
So I haven't done one fantastic thing, but highlights have been (in no particular order) building a fantastic relationship with and marrying my wife, buying our first home (we were only 18), holding a job for 9 years (I'm 26), passing all my exams and tests first time (i'm studying to be an accountant), and making our baby (due in a few weeks - that wasn't strictly intentional!!).

I believe that you're not actually benefitting from solely concentrating on one achievment, but by the state of your life in general.
Trouble is often thrown at you out of the blue, or caused by previous actions. What counts is how you deal with it.

Climbing out of a dysfunctional, backward, self centered family, (mental illness, abuse, dropping out of school) and working hard to achieve an education and becoming a project manager for a construction co. I realized that the family members who I tried so hard to win affection and approval from, were all a bunch of losers, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially, etc.

i've been taking care of my dad and my 2 older brothers ever since my mom died (10 years ago, i was 16 then). they mostly listen to me so i think i'm doing a pretty good job, lol. also when i qualified for the bar 2 years ago and when i went into business with some friends. apart from being "achievements" for me, i also consider these 2 as my coming-of-age events.

My list is long, climbing Mount Everest, traveling through Asia, completing two doctorates, written seven books, visiting 20 other nations, speaking seven languages, surviving Japanese internment in Hong Kong as a kid, served seven years in Vietnam and I haven't even got to my family yet....I was raised by a Chinese family in Hong Kong...No, I am not lying.

its questions like these that can really stir up depression.

but. . . i've been fortunate enough to marry someone who is and always will be my best friend.

we've started two businesses together that are doing quite well now (and believe me, this took a lot of patience. . . and borrowing from good ol' mom and dad of course!).

and look, we've all made it to another day of life. . . and messing around on Yahoo Answers! Now that deserves a big thumbs-up by itself, right?!!!
