it's not you - it's the news.. for the past month, i've been trying to see if there are any "normal" news anywhere in USA - tried CNN, MSNBC, and all the local channels.. my answer - aside from crimes and an occasional kitten rescued from the tree - there is nothing good, inspiring or intellectual that the media is getting into our brains.. my solution - turn off the TV.. you will hear the news from others - i mean there's no way you will miss another Katrina or the presidential election because people do talk - and the weather.. in my opinion, it's easier and more accurate to estimate it yourself - today the forecast in NY was rain, well, it's sunny and bright and pleasant - i don't even know how the weather people stay in business and if anyone is listening to them..
on the other hand, there were worse times - ever heard of middle ages?.. so i think it's not the age of paranoia, it's more of a civilized barbarianism :)

i think we do, because we live in a corrupt world, in which paranoia is the only way we get by. I think paranoia within people began to kick in when the Twin Towers were blow up by terrorists, making people more conscience/paranoid that the people that walk on this earth are able to commit mass murder on a large scale.

i think of you and George have it completely pegged wisely! What ever befell to the circumstances while a individual stood up for themselves and made a fact approximately their very own character via doing so? In equivalent to that on the different fringe of issues, if a individual could no longer lower back up what he stated, he knew greater clever than to declare something in any respect. in case you answer the telephone and it rather is a invoice collector or somebody merchandising some thing via fact all they might land replaced into "this awful telemarketing interest", you could continually say no thank you and easily cling up the telephone, or you may desire to easily pretend you're no longer listening to something on your end of the line and keep yelling "hi" into the telephone until eventually you eventually say you're putting up considering which you could no longer pay attention them. What are they gonna do to you over the "gawddam" telephone anyhow? Freddy from Nightmare on Elm highway is in basic terms a action picture, no longer a actuality determine we could continually concern approximately for Pete's sake! Get a grip, human beings! you keep telling 'em, James! I pay attention you and agree!

Step back and look at the world we live in. If we are not paranoid, then we are idiots. Why would you let your guard down. You can't trust anyone or anything.

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
