You should be massaging baby's gums even before the teeth come in and then start brushing them as soon as they come in. The make very soft, tiny little tooth brushes just for babies. There is also a kit that you can buy at most drug stores that has different type "brushes" for the different stages of baby tooth development.

I brushed my sons teeth as soon as he got them. I talked to my dentist about it and she said that the sooner your brush the teeth the easier it will be when the child gets older. My dentist gave me a baby tooth brush, and i bought baby toothpaste (remember they cant have normal toothpaste), and now my son is enjoying brushes his teeth. Also babys eat just like us and they throw up more than us, so why not brush their teeth

Once they get teeth give them a little toothbrush they can chew on while they are in the tub.. This brushes and cleans teeth for babies. They can play at same time.

You should have started at 4 months. You get a Colgate no 1 toothbrush and should have started brushing the gums. Start now.

You should worry about not only his teeth, but his gums, after each feeding you should take a warm cloth, and wipe the baby gums, once he/she cuts that first tooth, go to your local market in the baby section they have baby brushes....good dental hygiene is never to early

you should start really early like even after the baby is born with just a finger brush because babies can get thrush in their mouths and by wiping their gums and the inside of the cheeks so that it will prevent that from happening because it is very painful if they get that...when the baby gets his/her first tooth then go buy a baby tooth brush and baby safe tooth paste. hope that helps.

If he has teeth, start brushing. One, it builds in him the good habit and two, it removes the debris from eating and helps keep the gums healthy. You should have consulted your pediatrition for your specific baby. Make sure it is a child's toothbrush !

My sister in law started brushing her childs teeth as soon as one came in. She got the finger brush and used it daily on the child.

You missed the boat. You start with a finger brush as soon as the first tooth comes in. Better get started now or he won't let you later.

As soon as the baby has teeth. Use one of those tooth and gum cleaners. It slips over the finger and has short bristles.
