if your wife is not working and you have not given her money for shopping and she wear new cloth with informing you.
listen, if your wife is not working does it mean she has not got savings? remember women are very conservative she would have save some money out of the housekeeping allowance or something. well it all depend on how you take your wife or how you run your home but i feel you should not suspect your wife and if you feel you want to ask her were she got the money you can but that should not bring qurrey between you and your wife

In my work with couples, I usually encourage making agreements before marriage. In this case, the two of you must sit down and look at finances in general, and if a budget does not exist, create one that includes clothing needs for every one. However, keep in mine that the two of you must also make an agreement - to discuss and agree on any purchase that is not budgeted. Generally, any purchase over $20 should be discussed between couples. Some families with greater incomes can agree on discussion of purchases that are higher.

Maybe she got them from a friend or relative, or they took her shopping. If she does the grocery shopping, she might have been saving from that money to treat herself. All you should do, in my opinion, is ask her, and try not to be judgemental or irrate when you do it. Women are born shoppers, and we love to have our own sense of style. If you have not been allowing her to do this on her own, she is having to go behind your back, and it's not fair to you or her. Give her a way to express herself, even if you just give her $50 dollars a month. Housewives sometimes feel they have no control over their lives, and by being understanding and trying to work with her, you can only strengthen your relationship.

As a housewife, her job is to take care of you, the children, and the home. To me that is work and if she buys new clothes, it should not matter, she is entitled to the money too. When you married her you were a team, a partnership and you share everything including the money that is in the bank.
