I have an Intel Centrino 2200 BG chipset and Windows XP or i even have an ubuntu V 6.0.6 live CD. I am keen to have knowledge of war drving and how to get get WEP key? could any one help me out step by step for war driving and i will be a lot thankful to him...

I have successfully used Netstumbler on my Windoz notebook while driving. I like the program. Although I also have Ubuntu Dapper Drake on the same pc, I have no program similar to Netstumbler in Linux, nor have I setup WINE for such use. I don't think the live CD has any WIFI capabilities.
Sorry, I have no knowledge on how to crack someone's WEP key. All I know is that WEP is weak, so you shouldn't have too much trouble invading someone else's privacy.

You need a packet sniffer to pick up the packets and then decrypt them to get the WEP Key. Try joining www.h2kclan.com but dont ask dumba** questions or you will get kicked off or laughed at

To be honest this is going to sound harsh but people who want to learn things like this are ususaly people who just want to cause havock, Hackers everywhere cause damage to systems and cost big companies thousands of pounds every day. I wouldnt want to do this and I cant see why you would either. Its extremely illegal to try to break into other peoples networks unless they give you permission. Just dont do it as its not worth it . This site won't really divuldge this kind of information.
