No, I'd let it go. What would be the point of dwelling on a hatred when the subject of the hatred is gone?
If there were unresolved issues that might be a different story... like if I hated the person because he or she abused me and I had never confronted them, maybe I wouldn't be able to let it go.
But otherwise, I wouldn't hang on to the bad feeling.
However, I try not to hate anyone. I just avoid people I don't get along with and I try not to wish them ill or talk about them behind their back. I figure if I hate someone it's my problem, why spread it around?
If I really can't stand someone I make a point of praying for them. It puts things in perspective.

Yes. My dad's fiance was a vicious and cruel woman. She was mean to my sisters, my brother and my 2 year old daughter. She took my dad's money, ruined his credit, called my sisters 'the b*tches' and my brother 'the f*g'. Then she had the nerve to accuse my dad of sleeping with me. Her justification was that my daughter 'looked too much like him not to be his kid'. She made our lives miserable and I hated her. When she died it was like a weight had been lifted. My dad was sad but my siblings and I weren't even a little upset. I only felt bad that I had to endure the experience of knowing her.

I'd still feel bad that I ever knew them, but I would not feel bad that they died. I feel worse if they live.

A couple of people were very mean to me. One died of a heart attack. The other succumbed to an incurable sickness. I felt relieved when they died but I didn't hate them. I guess they died prematurely because they were very mean to me.

If it was someone like Hitler, Bush, or my mother then I would throw a party and dance and sing, and be happy! One less evil person in the world. Other than them I do not hate anybody

the death of a human being is painful as such. But if it is someone that i really hated and stuff , i think i would not care much , but i would feel that life is not worth all the antagonism , because we all die eventually

A lot depends on how deep the hatred I had for them.
I usually go, it's tragic they died, but my feelings haven't shifted.
