Well, I have been thinking, with the graphics card companies (Nvidia, ATi) are racing against each other to build the best, resulting in us (the customer) left on the sidelines?

Correct, "Larry" it is good they are bringing new cards out. Im more concerned about cost though. I don't want to spend £80 on a brand new graph. card and then find out there's a better one next month, you know?

Yeah it is kinda annoying that they are all doing this, but also they don't seem to be thinking about the games out there either many of them cant fully take full advantage of the power behind these graphics cards. Many consumers are waisting money if they think they will see any improvement from there current graphics card in most circumstances. Its debateable if its ever worth upgrading your card itsonly the enthusiasts that can ever really take advantage of these.

I don't understand your concern. I'm glad they keep trying to make a better product. I don't feel left out. I get to buy these products if I want to, nobody says I have to. I'm waiting for a good 512 meg card to come out.

its the computing field in general, as soon as you buy a top of the range something or other, a rival company brings out a better and cheaper one almost immediately

This is how all companies are. All they are after is to be bigger and better. I don't think any company relay cares about the people. They just make what we want and tell us to buy it.
